The Economic Confidential magazine provides the distribution of a total sum of N550 billion being the Statutory and VAT allocations shared to all tiers of government at the monthly meeting of the Federation Account Allocation committee (FAAC) in September 2010. From the table of net disbursements after deductions, the highest recipients are from the oil producing states with Akwa Ibom receiving N16.2bn and Rivers N15.4bn.
