Federation Account: How They Shared N690bn  and Other Billions of Naira in June 2012
The Economic Confidential has obtained documents of four different allocations at the meeting of the Federation Account Allocation Committee in June 2012. The allocations include: N647bn from the Federation Account, N26bn from the Excess Oil Revenue, N7.61bn from as NNPC 10th Refund and N9.35bn for Domestic Excess Crude. From the disbursement of N647bn of the statutory and VAT allocations Akwa Ibom received N20.9bn, Rivers N17.6bn, Delta N15.4bn, Lagos N14.4bn, Kano N11.6bn and Bayelsa N10.5bn. Muslim-Christian Clerics Arraigned for Criminal Connivance Over N10 million Fraud

Finally the Supreme Court has ruled in favour of Akwa Ibom on a legal battle over the ownership of 76 oil wells located in the Atlantic Ocean between Akwa Ibom and Cross River states.
